What to do in Graide Retreat Lodge?
Forget about the speed of imposed life.
Listen to the Nature.
Listen to the slow bells.
Listen to Yourself.
Slow down. Do Nothing.
Oh, yes. First, we invite you to do NOTHING. This is how you grow the consciousness of your being.
Enjoy contemplating fire or clouds, depending on weather. Enjoy lying in bed, listening to raindrops on the roof or wind wispering in the chimney. Enjoy hearing the melodies of morning birds singing. Enjoy counting the bell tolls on the ancient church of Graide.
Find a stress-relief in expressing yourself artistically. Paint, work with clay, meditate while drawing or coloring our mandala book. Pick up a book to read in our quiet place.
Play a game or two, indoor or outdoor, alone or with a mate.
Relax. Detach from your usual routine.
Connect with Nature
Graide Retreat is located in a newly created Southern Ardennes National Parc in Belgium. We are surrounded by Nature. Here, you are part of Nature.
Choose between a shorter walk in surrounding forests or a hike on a GR 14 trail (Transardennaise)
Take a ride on one of our retro-bikes.
Visit the nearby Natagora Natural Reserves.
Alternatively, stay next to the house and put your hands in our organic garden learning the wise co-habitation with Nature.
Explore neighbourhood
Visit our neighboring Le Jardin des Hiboux (a prey-bird and bee keeper), freely or for a workshop.
In the area, several horse-riding centers offer courses and forest walks.
